ARABIA PETRAEA, Philippopolis. Philip I. AD 244-249. Æ 29mm (21.22 g). Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΠΟΛΙΤΩΝ ΚΟΛΩNIAC, Roma seated left, holding an eagle supporting two small figures with her right hand, resting left on spear; S-C to either side. Spijkerman 3; BMC Arabia pg. 42, 4; SNG Copenhagen -. Good Fine, patina stripped now retoned to a light brown, lightly porous surfaces.
